Who we are

PerpScout is a comparison directory for crypto prop firms. Message @alparslanabdik on X with any privacy question.

What we collect

• Nothing you type into the site. The odds calculator runs in your browser; the numbers never leave your device.
• Saved firms and comparison picks. Stored in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. We cannot see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
• Messages you send us by email or through the contact form (for example to list a firm or send payout proof). If the form is switched on, it is handled by a form service that passes the message to us. We use your message and address only to reply and run the listing.
• Basic server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

Third parties

• Market prices. The sidebar price bars come from a file we refresh on a schedule from the public Hyperliquid API. Your browser does not contact Hyperliquid for this.
• Fonts. We load the Manrope font from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads.
• Affiliate and outbound links. Some links to prop firms and tools (for example trading journals) are referral links. If you click one, the destination site and its partners may set their own cookies and track the visit. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Their privacy policies apply once you leave PerpScout.
• Analytics. We do not currently run analytics. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or referral click tracking, we will update this page first.

Cookies

PerpScout itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It uses local storage only for your saved firms and comparison list, as described above.

Why we use data, and how long we keep it

We use the little data we hold to run the site, answer your emails and keep the service secure. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our records of listings, then deleted. Server logs are kept by the host for a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to object to how it is used. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

PerpScout is not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

PerpScout is informational. Prop firm challenges involve fees and most attempts fail. Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice.
